Dr. Jason Mensah, DO
Dr. Jason Mensah, DO, serves as the Medical Director for both our Inpatient Residential Treatment Program and our comprehensive Outpatient Programs (PHP, IOP, SOP). Dr. Mensah is triple board-certified in general psychiatry, adolescent psychiatry, and addiction medicine, bringing a wealth of specialized knowledge to the residents of southeastern Texas, including Beaumont.
He provides exceptional care focusing on the medication management of a broad range of mental health disorders, including attention deficit with hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, panic disorders, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and various substance abuse issues.
Originally from Jersey City, New Jersey, Dr. Mensah earned his BA in Biology from Richard Stockton College of NJ. He then pursued his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Mensah completed four years of rigorous general psychiatry training at Indiana University. His diverse professional background includes significant experience in inpatient, outpatient, and correctional behavioral health settings, as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient settings, making him uniquely qualified to lead our holistic addiction treatment programs in Beaumont.
